Amount awarded: $199,965

The EM Lab at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) will conduct a two-year research effort to investigate how 3D printing can be used to advance RF Sensor System technology. The objectives of the research are: (1) to develop concepts and best practices for 3D printed RF circuits, (2) to develop a methodology to manufacture periodic structures onto curved surfaces, and (3) to explore new 3D printable materials and hybrid 3D printing processes for 3D printed RF sensors.
