Lung cancer continues to be a health problem worldwide that affects both sexes. An estimation of 1.8 million of new cases is reported every year. From the overall of these cases, the 58% were reported in developing countries. Due to the geographical localization of United States and its interaction with Mexico, the populations of Hispanics have been increased in the last years, accounting for 16.3% (50.5 million per 310 million) of the US population. The aim of this study is to identify novel compounds that could act as inhibitors of Met and Nrf2-ARE proteins, to overcome anti-cancer drug resistance.?
