In concert with Texas A&M University-Kingsville, Dr. Taboada’s project provides student training for an underrepresented labor force in high-tech agricultural careers. Student participants receive summer research-related training through international workshops and USDA-career focused internships. Students who receive this training will meet the minimum qualifications for employment with USDA agencies upon graduation.
