Dr. Reed-Sandoval's work is primarily in the areas of Latin American and Latina/o Philosophy, Political Philosophy and Philosophy for Children. Much of her current work focuses on issues in immigration justice, anti-Latina/o racism and Philosophy for Children in multicultural contexts. Dr. Reed-Sandoval is the founding director of the Oaxaca Philosophy for Children Initiative, a non-profit program that provides free K-12 Philosophy for Children courses to children and youth in Oaxaca, Mexico.
