Brad Genevro
Professor, Music
Director, Music

We will be pursuing several avenues of research and scholarship to enhance the education of UTEP students and highlight the UTEP music programs. First, through recording projects, I will continue my work in documenting and preserving wind band music. I will participate in these projects as a conductor, with groups at UTEP, as well as a recording producer with groups throughout the United States and Australia. In addition to recording at UTEP, I have been invited to work in collaboration with other universities including: The University of North Texas, Concordia University and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Lastly, I will continue to be active as a guest conductor, clinician and adjudicator throughout the world. I have been invited to do work as a conductor, clinician and adjudicator across the United States in 2017 including Delaware, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Oklahoma, Oregon and Texas. I will also be spending a week in Hong Kong, in December 2016, as a guest of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the government as a guest adjudicator and conductor. I will also be presenting several conducting workshops to the staff of the Leisure and Culture Services Department as well as at several local universities.
