Assistant Professor, Teacher Education

As an educational anthropologist and interdisciplinary scholar, Dr. Convertino's research focuses on the geo-political, economic, social, and cultural contexts of informal and formal education with particular attention to identity and social justice. Her research also engages an anthropology of policy to examine issues related to political economy, public spaces, and cultural citizenship.
