C. Scott Hill, MSME, PE is a retired propulsion system engineer and manager with more than 45 years experience in spacecraft reaction control systems, both hypergolic and monopropellant. This effort included component and rocket engine design, development, production, and qualification testing in support of US Space exploration projects from the Apollo program (1962) through the Constellation Program (2009).

Mr. Hill teaches classes in spacecraft design and propulsion seeking to convey an engineering professional viewpoint and increase student understanding of the system design process. He mentors under graduate and graduate students at cSETR in developing methane propulsion technology for use in space.
