Hideaki Tsutsui
Associate Professor, Theatre, Dance and Film

New York credits include: Garth Fagan Dance 40th Anniversary at Joyce Theatre, Osvaldo Golijov's La Pasión Según San Marcos, Moscow Circus USA Tour, Midtown International Theater Festival, and Mikel Rouse’s The End of Cinematics and Gravity Radio at Brooklyn Academy of Music. He also worked as an assistant lighting designer for Jules Fisher and Peggy Eisenhauer. Hideaki was the Lighting Designer and VP of Operations for Eggshell Lighting in Hawaii, where he designed over 100 corporate events, concerts, and television shows. Hideaki was also one of the designers for the APEC Conference events in 2011. His 100% LED show: The Three Musketeers at the University of Texas at El Paso, where Hideaki is the Associate Professor of Lighting Design, was featured in numerous lighting magazines. Currently Hideaki is working on projects such as world premier of The Demo at Stanford, Sweeney Todd at Madison Opera and Lantern Floating Ceremony in NYC at Lincoln Center.
