Her laboratory combines neurochemical and molecular approaches with behavioral models to study drug abuse. Her research program is supported by the National Institute on Drug Abuse and the American Diabetes Association. Dr. O’Dell’s research program is built on a strong student-mentor foundation and she has a deep interest in promoting students from diverse backgrounds to pursue a career in science.
