Luis Soto
Lecturer, Languages and Linguistics

I have been interested and involved in the Spanish literature, language and all the Spanish-speaking cultures every day of my life since 1991. Ever eager to learn and always committed to excellence, the teaching profession has led me to get a Ph. D. in Spanish (Latin American and Peninsular Literature and Culture), as well as minor in Spanish Applied Linguistics. A phoneme is as important as a poem a short story and a well written composition in my profession. At UTEP I aspire to share my research and practice effectively my teaching skills with my students in order for them to succeed in college and society.
