Associate Professor, Biological Sciences - Environmental Science (College of Science) - Biology, Ecology and Evolution - Border Biomedical Research Center (BBRC)

Dr. Moody's research examines how organisms evolve over space and time, and he links this to biodiversity conservation, historical ecosystem change and plant invasion. Towards this end his research incorporates: traditional molecular methods, Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), phylogenetic analysis, bioinformatics, and field work.
