Professor, Social Work - Interdisciplinary Health Sciences

Professor of Social Work, Dr. Mark Lusk, is an experienced field worker and researcher in Latin America. Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, he has lived in South America for over 20 years. He currently studies trauma among refugees. Mark is licensed in Texas as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). Professor Lusk is an active member of the UTEP Community of Engaged Scholars and was appointed Provost's Faculty Fellow-in-Residence for Civic Engagement 2016-2018.
