Description

The Global Engagement Community of Practice brings together faculty and staff interested in extending UTEP’s presence and impact in global research, creative activities, and instruction for the purpose of providing our students and the community with a high quality educational environment.

Aspirations

We aspire to advance UTEP's commitment to global scholarly, creative, and educational activities by • Institutionalizing best practices through the centralization of processes and procedures for efficiency and transparency; • Expanding student learning, promoting faculty development, and supporting research partnership • Sharing experiences and information; • Developing partnerships on and off campus; • Increasing global understanding among students through experiential learning; and • Extending the meaning of community engagement by including international activities.
