Research will allow assessment of the health and quality of life impacts of the water and wastewater project completed in 1998 in Socorro and San Elizario by EPWU and the Lower Valley Water District with funding from BECC. We will conduct this assessment using the tools of Health Impact Assessment (HIA) as a “Retrospective HIA," as defined by the World Health Organization.
