This project seeks to leverage the expertise of the UTEP Institute of Tectonic Studies research group to collect outcrop data and analyses in order to interpret the structural, sedimentological and geochemical controls on trap sealing mechanisms in order to improve predictions of subsurface seal behavior in the near-salt region.
