UTEP will perform an exploratory study of metamaterial inspired modulated surfaces for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company (LM Aero). The tasks to be performed (unclassified non-proprietary material) include analysis to explore metamaterial inspired surfaces that can modulate reflections, determining key characteristics of the surfaces and provide resulting analysis, and iteration of surface designs based on feedback provided by LM Aero.
