Dr. Adriana Dominguez is most passionate about creativity in and out of the classroom. She believes that humans are creative beings that need to express themselves and theatre is one of the most effective methods to communicate that expression. Dr. Dominguez is continually seeking opportunities to provide access to creativity and the arts. In her role as Director of BA/BFA Theatre Programs for the Department of Theatre and Dance, Adriana creates relationships with local schools and the community in order to foster connections and opportunities for all students to experience the wonder of theatre through workshops, tours, summer theatre camps, special courses, matinees, and touring shows. Adriana is seeking to create interdisciplinary relationships to further understand and document the positive impact of the art of theatre. Adriana has been involved in the theatre for over 25 years in a variety of capacities: actor, director, producer, playwright, designer, and technician. |
