Lindsey Macchiarella
Assistant Professor of Instruction, Music

Lindsey Macchiarella’s area of research is late 19th-century and early 20th-century musical modernism. A composer of particular interest to her is Aleksandr Skryabin (Alexander Scriabin). She has also done extensive research on a French composer from the same time period, Erik Satie. Her secondary area is early music performance for Medieval, Baroque, and Renaissance music. Her main instruments are the recorder and viola da gamba.
