Postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Transportation Infrastructure Systems at the University of Texas at El Paso, TX. Holds a Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering and specializes in multimodal performance measurement, roadway safety and active transportation. Leads two research teams as a principal investigator: North Texas Bicycle and Pedestrian Crash Analysis (funded by Texas Department of Transportation) and Web–based Application to Visualize Performance of Regional Multimodal Corridors (funded by El Paso Metropolitan Planning Organization). Co-author of a National Cooperative Highway Research Program Report 859: Consequences of Delayed Maintenance of Highway Assets. Focuses on finding solutions to transportation challenges for metropolitan planning organizations and state departments of transportation.
