Dr. Todd A. Curry is an associate professor in the Political Science Department. He received his Ph.D from Western Michigan University in 2012. His primary area of research examines how the methods of selection and retention used to staff State Courts of Last Resort interact with judicial behavior. Specifically, Dr. Curry examines if the various methods of selection have predictable effects on things such as tenure, judicial opinions, and the representative nature of State Supreme Court justices.
