Timothy E Dickinson
Assistant Professor, Criminal Justice

Dr. Timothy Dickinson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice. He earned his Ph.D. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2015. Prior to joining the faculty at UTEP, Dr. Dickinson was a Visiting Professor at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. His research explores decision-making among offenders and investigates the various ways their communication can affect this process. His research has been published in journals such as British Journal of Criminology, Criminology, International Journal of Drug Policy, and Journal of Research in Crime and Delinquency.
