Description

This community connects UTEP faculty and professional staff who are involved in community engagement activities or research related to COVID-19.
The goal of this community is to connect and support interaction among members and related community stakeholders. The efforts of this community provide a snapshot of the various ways that UTEP is responding to COVID-19 in the community and beyond. Pressure-based ventilator design

UTEP in collaboration with UT Health Science Center at Houston, has designed a ventilator for ICU use, which is pressure based. The design of the device can get fast FDA clearance, and is being published to make it open source for people to replicate.
