Darrouzet-Nardi's primary research interests are in soil biogeochemistry, plant ecophysiology, and global change. He addresses research questions in these areas using manipulative field experiments, statistical modeling of multivariate data, and laboratory assays of biogeochemical processes. The goal of his research program is to examine the effects of global change drivers such as climate change on mountain, desert, and Arctic tundra ecosystems using ecological field experiments.
