Dr. Sang's research focuses on power system operations and planning, including the analysis of power system economics, reliability, and resilience. Her other research interests include the application of high-performance computing in power systems research, applications of blockchain in electricity markets, and risk analysis for power systems with high penetration of renewable energy. Her previous research experience includes the application of power flow control technologies in power systems, preventive operation of power systems during hurricanes, and marine energy.
