This project strengthens student voter registration, education, and turnout at UTEP during the 2025–2026 academic year. Funding supports the Center for Community Engagement (CCE) in expanding outreach through collaboration with student organizations, community agencies, and academic departments. Existing voter registration efforts provide a strong foundation, while partnership with Ask Every Student increases capacity for large-scale initiatives such as National Voter Registration Day and Vote Early Day. Planned activities include faculty-supported classroom trainings, workshops, and student leader development sessions designed to encourage participation in upcoming elections. Support for stipends, event materials, and paid student internships enables consistent, high-quality programming and expands the center’s capacity to sustain campus-wide voter engagement efforts.
