It enhances behavioral health capacity across 10 Texas counties within Public Health Regions 8, 9, and 10 by increasing the number of trained professionals and ensuring a culturally competent, community-responsive workforce. The focused training supports services for children, adolescents, young adults, and families, aligning workforce development with the cultural, linguistic, and regional needs of U.S.–Mexico border communities.
