Mission and Goals

The CCE serves as UTEP’s resource center for faculty, staff, and students who are interested in engaging in the community through a variety of programs and activities. The CCE connects the resources of the university to help meet community priorities through maintaining healthy and mutually beneficial relationships with community partners.

Funders and Collaborators

The Center is the campus-wide infrastructure to help coordinate and manage community-based teaching and learning partnerships. The CCE coordinates service-learning courses, volunteer opportunities for students, community partnerships, community work-study, and with community partners, capacity-building, awareness and educational events.

The CCE supports faculty development in Community Engaged Scholarship.
