Both practice and academic experience with aging. Created a geriatric substance abuse program in a general hospital; ran a senior center with congregate dining, transportation, and home delivered meals programs; supervised an assisted living facility; created a project older American were social work and nursing students would provide services in senior centers; had a Hartford Foundation project with social work students working with public health nursing students in screening and assessment; served on Elder Death Review Team; and coordinated depression screening for adult protective services. Participated in the John A. Hartford Foundation training for social work and aging. I was also a founder of the Center on Aging at Wayne State University.
