Purpose: The aim is to facilitate professional connections across disciplines on the general theme of “Well Being.”
Activities: Participants will review excerpts from published funding solicitations and discuss ideas for potential proposals. The brainstorm session will focus on three areas of interest within the general theme of well-being: emotional resiliency, social integration, and environmental health. Depending on the number of participants, subgroups may be formed that relate to each area of interest.
Outcomes: The purpose of the brainstorm session is not to produce a fundable proposal since this requires many hours but instead to provide a jump start to potential teams that could be formed to anticipated calls for funding. Another outcome will be the establishment of connections among participants and the sharing of areas of expertise knowledge.
