This grant supports the acquisition of hyperspectral imagers integrated with unmanned aircraft system UAS for sustainable agroecosystems research in the arid regions. This enables foundational research for understanding processes and interactions in agroecosystems at a field scale. Indicators developed for local agriculture may aid local growers to sustain production while reducing the ecological footprint.
