Expanding access to contemporary art and creative exchange across the border region is the anchor of this project. General operating support sustains exhibitions, performances, lectures, and outreach that serve both campus and community audiences. Ongoing programming positions the Rubin Center as the region’s only dedicated contemporary art institution, providing a critical platform for artists and arts professionals on both sides of the border. Interdisciplinary exhibitions, workshops, and public programs foster dialogue, support artistic practice, and strengthen the cultural infrastructure of the Paso del Norte region while connecting local creativity to broader national and international conversations.
