Sponsor: NATIONAL AERONAUTICS AND SPACE ADMINISTRATION - NASA THROUGH UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND
This collaborative project with the University of Maryland develops algorithms from various optical remote sensing platforms to describe land-atmosphere exchange of component carbon (CO2, CH4), water, and energy fluxes; validate these models; and extrapolate them to satellite-based observing systems. UTSP's contribution will focus on the re-analysis of ground-based remote sensing and plot level flux measurements that span 2002-2016 and include sites throughout northern Alaska, Chukotka, and the Canadian high arctic.
