This project will give TxDOT pavement designers and engineers a better idea of what to specify for mixes, and provide guidelines for better design of HMAs being placed on Texas roadways. The issue of the use of RAP and RAS and balanced mix design for HMAC is one of the most important areas in construction at this time. It has a direct impact in every area of the state and is integral to the core mission of TxDOT.
