Bacterial meningitis is a deadly disease with high mortality and morbidity rates. Current methods for meningitis diagnosis are time-consuming and costly. Thus, this project develops and optimizes a point of care device for meningitis diagnosis at low-resource settings, which should be more robust than current mechanisms for detection.
