Given the fact that anticancer drugs are severely toxic for healthy tissues despite of their potential of killing cancer cells. In this project, we will develop a novel approach to deliver the anticancer drugs that will likely protect the healthy issues within heart without compromising their expected therapeutic outcomes. At the same time, we will investigate the feasibility of co-delivery of anticancer drugs and anti-inflammatory drug in a tumor bearing mice model as we hypothesize that anti-inflammatory drug will mitigate the inflammation and save the healthy tissue concurrently.
