This project is directed toward reducing the cost to El Paso Water (EPW) of hauling and disposing of sludge solids. The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) will conduct the on-site testing, collect & analyze appropriate samples, evaluate the data, and provide the results to EPW in a final report. The project will be carried out at the Roberto R. Bustamante Wastewater Treatment Plant (RRB WWTP) at a pilot-scale level.
