The research will identify the impact of cultural barriers on perceived occupational risk in Mexican migrant workers. The two-phase qualitative and quantitative research design includes a sample of Hispanic construction workers in the Paso del Norte region. The research project is expected to generate information for designing interventions that allow the reduction of occupational risk behaviors and modifications of public policies related to health and safety at work.
