Complementing the indispensable experimental effort, UTEP researchers will lead Thrust 2, carrying out computational modeling and simulations of fission products (FPs) containing Simfuel samples. Thrust 2 consisting of three tasks (i.e., Task 2.1, Task 2, Task 2.3) will help guide and verify the experimental synthesis and characterization (Thrust 1 and Thrust 3) led by UTSA.
