The primary objective of the project is to mechanistically characterize the physical and mechanical properties of the lunar regolith simulants through the development of a full factorial laboratory experiment matrix to determine the frictional and cohesional parameters of the lunar soil simulants at different Relative Compaction (RC%) levels.
