Amount awarded: $15,000

The objective of this work is to identify the most promising combustible systems for energy storage and power generation in deep space missions with an ability to be stored for long time onboard spacecraft. Upon ignition, the system will generate heat to be converted to electricity and may generate hydrogen for a fuel cell.
