The primary objective of this proposed study is to assess the vulnerability of coastal pavement infrastructure in the face of changing climate conditions, particularly in conjunction with extreme weather events (EWEs). Furthermore, this study aims to develop sustainable strategies for mitigating the adverse impacts of these events.This study marks an essential contribution to the discourse on climate change adaptation. By bridging the gap between historical data and projected climatic realities, the proposed framework for building infrastructure that is not only functional but also resilient and sustainable. The integration of diverse disciplines, the proposed framework, and the emphasis on informed decision-making collectively confront one of the most pressing challenges of our time.
