CTIS has developed a tool “The Performance Life of Mixes in Texas (PERMIT)” that provides TxDOT engineers and designers a means to observe the overall performance of HMA mixes in Texas through a web-based application that is housed at UTEP where the database is updated annually. This current implementation project expands on the previous research by incorporating quality control and quality assurance data from Site Manager, a TXDOT database into PERMIT. This linkage would allow transportation engineers to quickly and efficiently assess flexible pavement performance of thousands of jobs online.
