The aim of this study is to establish the inter-rater and intra-rater reliability of the 20-item Physical Therapy Spanish Proficiency Measure (PT-SPM), a tool that English-Spanish bilingual faculty or clinicians can use to assess students' clinically-relevant Spanish proficiency. If the reliability is established, the PT-SPM will be the first valid and reliable tool that can be used by academic and clinical educators to assess physical therapist students' clinically-relevant Spanish proficiency with Spanish-speaking patients.
