This project builds on a partnership with faculty at the Universidad de Guadalajara (UdeG) Smart Cities Living Lab -- a growing area of research and development worldwide. The objectives of this International Research Experience for Students are to: 1) engage cohorts of diverse, globally engaged STEM graduate students in Smart Cities research areas each year, in particular those related to resilience of cities (e.g., smart buildings, smart transportation, and internet of things); and 2) foster development of students' skills needed for collaborations across disciplines, borders, and cultures.
