Printed electronics uses additive processing for layer definitions compared to conventional top-down, subtractive processing methods. Advantages to printed electronic methods include flexible substrates, lower fabrication cost, and design agility. With increasing additive manufacturing capabilities, there is growing need for material development to fully utilized these emerging technologies. This project seeks to expand the library of printed materials to emerging electronic materials as well as improve printed electronic process methodologies through increased understanding of material properties.
