STARTALK 2019 is a summer language immersion program designed to introduce 50 high school students to three less commonly taught languages that are not offered in public schools in El Paso: Arabic, Portuguese, and Russian. The project goal is to recruit more students into the UTEP language programs who might participate in UTEP study abroad projects.
