The purpose of the “ From Local to Global” Project is a three-fold:
1. Design three tracks of language immersion program for high school and freshman college students;
2. Offer professional development training for foreign language educators, and
3. Conduct research assessing the effect of the program on participants’ learning of the target language and culture.
