Five community health workers (CHWs) who have not received the Mi Hermana training will be trained to deliver the Mi Hermana curriculum. In addition, Dr. Mancera will hire two people who have taught the Mi Hermana curriculum to serve as trainers and teach all of the CHWs across the country on how to deliver the curriculum. Dr. Mancera will recruit five CHWS who have been trained to deliver the curriculum to 282 women in the community. The UTEP team will collect contact information from the participants that will be used to expand the national Mi Hermana distribution list to disseminate women's health information. In addition, Dr. Mancera will develop five health messages and collect five personal stories from Mi Hermana participants that will be shared with the National Alliance for Hispanic Health Foundation.
