Mexican artist Minerva Cuevas (b. 1975, Mexico City) is a conceptual artist whose research-based creative practice spans film, performance, installation, mural painting, and technology. The Rubin Center will commission a new work based on her community-based practices to be created through a series of short-term residencies and exhibited as part of a retrospective exhibition of her social and political artwork.
