This project will establish preclinical models of metastatic colorectal cancer that closely represents the clinical progression of the disease. Orthotopic models of colon cancer metastasis will be developed using patient-derived circulating tumor cells and reporter cell lines to ultimately develop therapeutics for advanced stage colorectal cancer.
